Hey, Astro Lover. Welcome back to Third House Gossip. I'm so glad that you're here with me. I hope you're doing really well out there. I have a really short episode for you today because I am swamped with book stuff, but I wanted to talk to you a little bit about Mars in Virgo. , but before we do that, I just wanna check in with you.

I am in the thick of book edits right now. In fact, if you're not on my email list, hop on it. There is a link in the show notes. But I essentially told my email list this week. Hi, love you. I'm about to disappear for a month As I [00:01:00] finish this book up. I'll still be doing the podcast and still be sending newsletters, but I won't be consulting for the month of July because I just need that time to really hone in on the book.

I'm in a really good place with it, but. I'm at the point now where I'm in the weeds and I'm trying to, my friend described it as writing an instruction manual for astrology, and I've made the game, and that was pretty fun, and the game is working, but now I have to write the instructions for how to use the game, and that's really, really hard.

So I will be writing an instruction manual for the next month and I will not be available for consultation. Just wanna let y'all know that I will be back just taking a little break from consulting for time management purposes.

However, a few select people are going to be able to find me in the cave, the crone that I am, [00:02:00] and those people are my mentees. If you are wanting to go from astrology student to professional, you've taken all the courses, you've taken all the classes, but you still feel insecure, you feel like a fraud, you feel like you don't know enough, I wanna help you out.

I know exactly what that feels like. I have taken so many courses. I've done all of the things, but the one thing that made me feel like a confident astrologer was practicing reading charts with a mentor. The thing is, consuming more astrology content is not the way to address your fears and insecurities. It's not gonna make them better. The thing that is going to address those is talking about them with someone who's been there and also practicing your craft with someone who can tell you.

If you're on the right track, and I wanna be that mentor for you. So if you want to apply, go to astrology with [00:03:00] claire.com/astrology-mentorship, or you can click the link in the show notes below to apply for what I'm calling Bridge 'cause it's essentially a bridge from being a student to a professional.

It is a four month container where you're gonna get me for four whole months. We're gonna do eight sessions every other week. We'll meet together weeks one through three, our natal chart abstraction and interpretation. Week four is a business brainstorm because we've gotta talk about setting up a successful practice too.

Week five through seven is astrological timing and interpretation. We we're gonna go over profections, zodiacal releasing and transits, and then our final week as another business brainstorm.

So if you wanna go from nervous astrology student to Confident Astrology Pro, you wanna be in my one-on-one mentorship.

All you gotta do is apply. And after you do that, you will be directed to set up a call with me where I'll answer any of your [00:04:00] questions and we'll just make sure that we're a great fit for each other.

Okay. I think those are all of my little updates. So let's get started talking a little bit about Mars and Virgo. I really like this vibe. Some of you may not, but as a natal sun in Virgo, I tend to like transits through Virgo. This is going to be happening starting Tuesday, June 17th in most time zones, and it will be lasting for approximately seven weeks until August 6th.

So this is a good chunk of time where Mars is going to be organizing and sorting and expressing itself in a very Virgo, earthy way. So let's backtrack and talk about what Mars does for us. Mars is the planet of action. It reflects the actions we take. It reflects our level of interest, our motivation, [00:05:00] our energy, and how that energy expresses, and it helps us accomplish things.

So when Mars changes signs, it can really be noticed in what you are driven to do or not to do. What you want to do and what you don't want to do, where you want to put your energy in focus and where you don't want to put your energy in focus. You can also feel it in your physical body. So Mars has been in Leo for quite little bit now, and that's a really active place for Mars to be.

I know while Mars has been in Leo, I've gotten back into fitness a little bit. I've been moving my body a bit more. I've been much more active. I've been walking about a lot. Mars and Leo is about movement. Mars and Virgo is a little different, still wants to move, but it's not as fiery or vibrant. Mars and Leo has been all [00:06:00] about self-expression and authentic action and doing what's best for you as an individual.

Mars and Virgo is slightly different. It's a more buttoned up, more organized version of Mars, and instead of being really concerned about expressing itself and being seen and being heard, it's about cleaning things up and doing acts of service instead of acts for the self.

This is a really great seven weeks to sink yourself into a project, something that needs to be sorted and sifted, something that needs to be put back in order. Something that needs to be made more efficient and streamlined and something that needs to be systemized.

Systematized, is that the word? I think that's the word.

Virgo is an earth sign. So whenever Mars travels through an earth sign, it becomes a little [00:07:00] bit more down to earth. It becomes a little bit more practical and pragmatic. And Mars in an Earth sign is really orderly. It likes things to go in a certain way, in a certain direction. It likes things to have a pattern.

Virgo was also considered a feminine or a yin sign, and when Mars moves through a yin or a feminine sign, its expression becomes a little bit more indirect or introverted.

So instead of being extremely expressive and extremely outward, like Mars and Leo has been, Mars and Virgo is gonna be a little bit more contained. It's gonna take a little bit more time to process things instead of. Acting on the fly, like Mars and Leo might do. Rushing through something saying yes before really thinking it through Mars.

And Virgo is gonna take its time to assess, to run the numbers, to make a plan, and to sit with it before it commits. And I think this is a really great [00:08:00] thing.

Virgo is also a mutable sign, so at its best, Virgo can be flexible and pivot with changes. Mars and Virgo likes a plan, that's for sure, but in its best expression, it can take input from others. It can morph and adapt when new information comes in and it doesn't get really rigid or brittle if it's getting really rigid or brittle.

When I say it, I mean a part of you. If a part of you is getting really rigid or brittle, just remember that Virgo is mutable. It's actually meant to go with the flow. It's meant to adapt, and that's where its brilliance and genius actually lives.

Mars and Virgo is ruled by the planet Mercury. So while Mars is traveling through Virgo, it's going to be taking its direction from the planet Mercury. Which means Mars and Virgo likes to think that's a mercury word. Likes to think a lot before it moves [00:09:00] forward and takes action. So just notice that you might get stuck in thought loops instead of actually taking a step forward.

You might get stuck trying to make things perfect and it's easy with this placement to sometimes lose the big picture perspective in all of the minutiae. You might notice that you're overthinking before acting. And so one thing I like to do is I like to take a step forward. And then see where I'm at.

Take one, step forward, reassess, take one step forward, reassess so Mars and Virgo can get a little bit slowed down by the tedious nature of Virgo and by Virgos tendency to wanna perfect everything and therefore not produce anything. So just be aware of that.

Mars and Virgo is all about efficiency and creating systems that make things run better and run [00:10:00] smoother, and that save time. If you want a hint about where you might wanna do these things, check where Virgo is in your chart. All right. What house does Virgo occupy? For me, it's the 10th house, so it's gonna be all about my professional life. But maybe Virgo is on your sixth house and will be all about your routine or how you take care of your body. Maybe it's in your second house and it's gonna be all about cash flow, how income comes in, how money flows out, what you think about that, how you budget, how you organize your finances. Or maybe it's in your ninth house and it's gonna be all about taking a class, taking a course, learning a language, and getting really into the details of grammar and all of that stuff.

There's a bazillion ways that this could show up, and you can use Mars and Virgo in any way you like. But the house kind of helps narrow it [00:11:00] down if you get a little overwhelmed, but trust your intuition. Whatever comes up that you wanna organize, go for it.

So I will be using those seven weeks to put the final touches on my book project, and I really love that for editing because it's gonna get really detailed. Talking about time lords and aspects and planetary condition and all the rules and all the ancient literature.

I'm gonna be sifting through that, making sure I've got everything I wanna say down. And you can do the same thing too. I encourage you to pick a project, a Mars and Virgo project for seven weeks, something that you want to organize, to sift through, to streamline or to systematize.

All right, just like Mars and Virgo, this was very efficient and short and sweet. No excess, no bells and whistles at all. Just very straightforward. So take that as inspiration to go and make something [00:12:00] better. Make something streamlined. Organize something. Get something into its cute little boxes. Get all your pens and pencils out, and make a plan and have fun with the Virgo vibe.

Talk to you soon.
